Works as promised. Holds the fork securely including "lawyer lip" type.
Plenty strong and rigid with solid mounting flange.
Lever action does hold bikes well.
I did not miss the mounting hardware as I did a custom mount into the plastic panel inside our Ridgeline so needed a spreader plate behind the panel anyway.
If specifying and buying your own hardware is too daunting, you probably should step away from putting a bike mount on your vehicle! Man up!

I found this device to be workable for my home built portable bike rack. I spent less than $35 dollars in total material costs. I purchased two of the hitch mounts and screwed them onto a 2X6 board that was cut to the width of my Honda Ridgeline truck bed. I can install and remove this rack anytime I need it with ease. I now can transport two extra bikes with ease in my truck bed if needed. You can't beat the price and features of this item.

Great piece of furniture. I don't really understand the other reviewers claiming shoddy quality. Maybe the delivery guys dropped theirs. I can say without a doubt this is a solid product. I'm actually on Amazon right now to buy a second one. Not really a con, but I was expecting more of a browner color on this. It has a little red in there, almost like cherry. Kind of makes me wonder how red the cherry unit is. It still matches the dark brown wood which is the rest of my living room furniture, so I have no gripe. The assembly wasn't exactly snap-n-go, but it's far from difficult. Now granted, a second pair of hands would have helped, but I was able to assemble mine by myself in about 30 minutes with very little difficulty. Instructions are very simple and to the point.
Definitely worth the buy! I would expect to find a solid piece of furniture like this locally for close to $100 or more, plus tax, plus the hassle of bringing it home. Through Amazon, $75 with free shipping to my door. Kind of feel sorry for the UPS guy who had to drag it up the stairs to my 2nd floor unit.

Heavy weight shelf for corner of room. Much more robust than you'd think from the Amazon photo. At first, I thought the price was high for a corner shelf. I was wrong. This shelf is very hefty.

The distance between shelves is 13 inches. The distance of the bottom shelf back (corner) to front is 17 inches. The second from bottom is 15 inches, and so on.

I put it together in about 50 minutes with one person (me), not two as recommended in the instructions.

The instructions say to attach it to the wall; it has wall anchor straps and even dry sheetrock wall plastic "hangers". I did not damage my wall with the hardware, I just set it firmly in the corner and it leans back, not front, by design, so it does not appear that it'd fall forward unless some little kid was to try to climb it. I have no little kids here.

Like all shelves, I put the heavier items on the bottom. I have no sense that the shelf will buckle or bend, even if used for books, which is what I am doing in sort of a fan shape on the shelves. It is sturdy enough for books. I recently bought and reviewed a three shelf Ore bookcase Ore International 3 Tier Bookshelves - Espresso that costs the same as this corner shelf. Although the Ore will hold more books, this Poundex corner shelf is better made.

The Poundex cherry is red and cherry color (rather than brown cherry, as many spray painted Chinese pieces can be). I do not whiff the lousy cheap shellac smell that ruins much cheap furniture (like the Ore).

I bought the Poundex corner shelf based on the five star Amazon reviews, and now I have added my own. Please click if this helped you so I know someone read this/. Thanks a bunch.

We had an awful time putting this together. Directions clear as mud. Neither Screws or t nuts would tighten. Pre drilled holes were misalaigned, it takes at least two people to get this together(knees and backs are still smarting.) making this 10 times worse than your standard IKEA assembly. Perhaps we just got dud, as we haven't had trouble with previous assemblies. This piece of garbage is currently "put together" and at least standing. It's going in the basement to hold hold garden tools. Not worth the hassel of packing up and returning. Save your money, buy a better peice of furniture.

Extremely happy with this machine however my 15.00 aerolatte does a better frothing job than the steam wand on this. I had to purchase a better steam wand for 40.00. Now I get perfect cappuccinos. I put the machine on top of a storage container to get around the problem of the steam wand being too low.

I'm sort of surprised by the prices I see here on Amazon for this machine, I'm pretty sure I paid about $130 for it at Macy's. Anyhoo, just want to give three cheers for this workhorse, which consistently pumps out excellent espresso, always with a nice healthy layer of crema on top. My Gaggia machine, which gave up the ghost before I got this one, was more expensive and didn't have the consistent quality that this one does. While with the Gaggia I had to be sure I did everything exactly right (grinding, tamping, etc) to get a good shot, the Saeco Aroma doesn't need kid gloves - it always makes tasty, creamy espresso regardless. Plus I think this one is much more sturdy - it's got a nice hearty metal shell, while the Gaggia was very plastic & suspiciously lighter weight.

The only thing to alert buyers/new owners about is that if the water tube is allowed to empty out completely - either when you remove the well to refill it, or if the water runs too low - it can be difficult to get the flow in the tube going again. That pump will really churn and churn as it tries to re-engage the vacuum or suction or whatever the appropriate word is, and it can take some fiddling to get it going again. To avoid this happening, I don't let the water well get too low, and don't remove it to refill it. Sort of annoying but ultimately not that big of a deal.

Totally a great machine in this price range - that is if you can get it at the (more appropriate) price of around $150.

I really liked the espresso machine while it was working. Unfortunately, after a few months, every time I turned it on it blew the fuse at my house. I tried for 3 months to get it fixed, but unfortunately Saeco support does not answer their phone!!! If you stay on hold (even if you wait an hour), you eventually get a recording that asks you to leave your number. They call you back at THEIR convenience (usually in the middle of the day when I was in a meeting). When I complained about this, they did not seem to think this was a problem. I finally did get to speak to someone (I happened to be free when they called) and they promised to send me paperwork that I needed to fill out to get it fixed. I never got that email so I started all over again trying to get their call when it was convenient for them. When I finally got to speak with someone else, they told me the same thing. This time I stayed on the phone with them until I received the email. I emailed it back immediately and waited another 3 weeks (with several follow-up emails asking when they were going to respond) before I took it back to the retailer for a refund. I can't believe a company that does not support their products can stay in business.

I ordered two of these, one for me and one for my husband's car, neither of us had been using handsfree speakers or bluetooths like we should be, only our phone's speakerphone option. Have only had these about a month but so far so good. I have only used it to make and receive calls and I did stream music once through the speaker and it sounded pretty good. I have not yet figured out how to integrate it with my phone's voice command app to do voice texts or search, etc so that would be good if I could figure that out without having to press a button on my screen. Also, a couple times when I got in my car it was not prompting me to make a call when I pushed the button but that may have been because the battery was low and needed to be charged. I'm not sure yet. Will update if I figure out what is causing that. All in all so far its good for the $$.

I recently got this for my Truck as I use it every day and it does not have built in Bluetooth.

At first it paired up fine with my IPhone 4S.

However I found I could hear the ringer but could not get the sound to play through on a received call.

I was going to send it back however I read the manual online and low and behold I now know how to receive calls without having to tap the IPhone receive buttons while driving.

It is a simple move that I missed somehow.

It really has made it easier for me.

Good product and a lot easier to use than my Jabra earbud.

This PSU is extremely quite and well made.

I was speechless when power was on, now i am hearing other fans being too noisy. hahaha.
and plus wire organizing is pretty nice as well. you just don't plug wires that you don't use. so your computer wiring can be pretty simple.

I don't regret spending money on this item.

I am loving it!

Ordinarily I'd be giving this five stars. It works perfectly and is too quiet to be heard over other things in my lounge.

So what's the problem?

I bought this with a Cooler Master HAF 932 case which accommodates this PSU perfectly... at the bottom. Great place for a heavy PSU. Unfortunately the cables are designed for a top mounting location. They expect the first drive to be at the top and the power to daisy chain down. Well these cables won't reach round the back (where the wiring belongs on this case) and then out to the top drive bay. They will reach the bottom drive, but then either you can't connect the others or you have to twist the cable round so it can hook in upside down. That leaves the rest of the connectors hanging down and that's no good for powering the other drives. So now what? Well fortunately people make extensions and converters from standard cables, so I was able to pick up power from a 4 pin Molex (old style drive connector) and use that to power my two DVD drives.

I bought one of these (new) about four years ago to upgrade an existing group of networked PC's to a single printer (each previously used individual ones). "Simply," in a matter of minutes, this thing was installed and all the PC's with it. This is one of those "painless" solutions! The installation wizard that came with it was a gem. It easily found the printer on the network & configured everything automatically! An icon showed up for updates. "Click" and twenty seconds later it said, "We had the latest software." The same printer is still working without a hitch. Fantastic!

I bought another, new HL-5250DN for another office about a year later. I installed it. It too is still running. There have been no problems.

In January 2009, I bought two of these "refurbished" models: one for my personal use, one as a gift for a family with three networked computers and a lot of school work. I have noticed no difference between the new and the refurbished, except the price savings. So, why buy new anymore? And, considering the price; it would be hard to be disappointed.

I regard this as the best black & white laser printer on the market. It has a duplex which works flawlessly & saves on paper. It's the only printer I use. It's all I recommend to others. It is reasonably priced. It is reasonable to run. Replace the toner cartridge with the high-yield choice and find it delivering 7,000 sheets. Get an additional paper tray & that works well too!

Brother has given us a superior hardware product capable of being used, "stress-free," by the average non-technical person. I call it a "simply" fantastic printer!

What a bargain! This printer is simply excellent and unlike a lot of other printers in this price range you actually get a large toner cartridge with it instead of those sample size carts some brands rip you off with.

Pros:

- Very fast and the warmup time is very short
- It's got ethernet which I connect to my Airport wireless to share with all the computers in the house.
- East setup: I pretty much connected it to the network, it appeared on my Mac and I printed a test page.
- The paper tray is large enough for my needs.
- Not overly noisy

Cons:

This printer can suck a lot of power starting up. If you have a lot of appliances on a 15A circuit the breaker may trip during the print cycle and cause a paper jam. I have read more about this problem than I have actually experienced but you may need to load balance your appliances over different circuits in your home if you have a lot of them.

My next printer will be a Brother but at this rate I may never get there this one is so reliable.

First the good. Don't hesitate to order the refurb model. It looked brand new. Even though the drum had a sticker saying it was only 90% full, the printer told me it was 99% full. It prints *fast*. Duplex is great and paper saving. Having it on the network is a dream. I can print from laptops and desktops all over the house.

Now the bad. The page curling complaints others have mentioned are real and significant. If you print a number of pages single sided, then you'll end up with a mess. My spouse prints large documents and she basically has to babysit the printer so she can pull pages out and straighten them because of this curl problem. I don't know why this printer has it...I haven't seen curling like this since the mid '90's in a laser printer. The problem is a real drag.

When the printer arrived I had to spend a bunch of time trying to figure out why it wouldn't wake up after sleeping. It's a known problem. Read the discussion on this Amazon page for the answers--it was the *only* place on the 'net I found them (including Brother support).

So, overall, it is still a good value. However, had I known just how bad the curling problem really is, I would have researched a bit more in case I found something else just as good but without the curl.
