Was very dissappointed with these cups. I own Bodem products and this new line is not up to the standards. The sleeve is different and does not protect your hand like the older ones. They are almost too hot to hold at first, I can't imagine how you could hold an expresso cup size. Also I notice there is not that nipple thing on the bottom of the cup like the old ones , which I think make the old ones perfect with an air chamber to make them hot on the inside and cold on the outside.

Bodum rules with clean design with everyday functionality. What does that mean? Well, their products look awesome with very simple lines (oh so European) The downside to the Pavina ceramic mugs is heat. While the product looks terrific and has a nice silicon grip, hot beverages make the cup very hot. Unlike the Bodum double-walled glass products that keep the hot or cold away from your hands, these mugs tend to get hot. That said, I very much like the design and color, b ut will choose my favorite handled coffee mug when given the choice.

Sometimes they are hard to get clean inside so be sure and remove any rings or stains before loading in the dishwasher
